Fall Color Tour Reports – 09/22/2021

Peak fall color season is typically the last week of September and the first two weeks of October. Fall color changes from west to east and from the interior out to the lake shore across the Upper Peninsula. Reports are done every Wednesday throughout fall color season.

Eastern Upper Peninsula  
Chippewa County: 10-25% color change. Peak fall color expected the first and second week in October.
Luce County: 10-15% color change. Peak fall color expected the first and second week in October.
Mackinac County: 5-10% color change. Peak fall color expected the first and second week in October.
Schoolcraft County: 5-10% color change. Peak fall color expected the first and second week in October.
   
Central Upper Peninsula  
Alger County: 10-30% color change. Peak fall color expected the first week in October.
Delta County: 10-20% color change. Peak fall color expected the first week in October.
Dickinson County: 10-25% color change. Peak fall color expected the first week in October.
Marquette County: 10-40% color change. Peak fall color expected the last week in September through the first week in October.
Menominee County: 10-25% color change. Peak fall color expected the first week in October.
   
Western Upper Peninsula  
Baraga County: 20-50% color change. Peak fall color expected the last week in September through the first week in October.
Gogebic & Ontonagon Counties: 20-60% color change. Peak fall color expected the last week in September.
Houghton & Keweenaw Counties: 20-40% color change. Peak fall color expected the last week in September through the first week in October.
Iron County: 10-30% color change. Peak fall color expected the last week in September.
